The HOTEL CIPRIANI is amongst the most famous luxury hotels in Venice. David Gilston had a chance meeting with its Marketing Director whilst staying as a guest at the hotel, from which came an invitation to pitch a new brand I.D.

David devised an identity that was founded upon his observation that the hotel's unique private shuttle launch across the lagoon essentially ferries guests to another world.

The I.D conceived had a mythical seahorse pulling a covered gondolier across the waves. The cabin is very small, suggesting a highly personalised service. The brand livery is peach and gold, inspired by the fact that the Bellini cocktail was created by Giusseppe Cipriani.
