Reid Acoustic Design's (RAD) brief was to conceive a new high end audio brand, generating its name, brand I.D., launch products (a speaker and amplifier), website concepts for both RAD and the new brand and packaging.

The brand name selected was 'Angels + Thunderbolts', a sector-disruptive name that alluded to the range's superlative audio fidelity for both classical and rock music.

The design language of the products is inspired by 1970's brutalist architecture and sci-fi movies set design. Both products will be available in a choice of materials and finishes that are wholly original for hi-fi products.

Angels & Thunderbolts is due to launch in late 2020.
