Thunkgood's brief was to create a launch event for the opening of the new flagship DUNHILL store at Bourdon House in Mayfair and ALFRED'S, its exclusive private members only club upstairs.

We created an event that harked back to golden age of the English gentleman, celebrating Dunhill's fine motorsports heritage. The invitations to the event were to be Dunhill branded 1960's Scalextric cars which could be competitively raced during the evening on a giant Monte Carlo circuit.

The exterior of the building had a slide show projected onto it of matinee idols and society snaps of the 1940's-60's. Inside, guests enjoyed canapés served by 'Rita Heyworth' styled waitresses, to the sounds of Lewis Hamilton mixing tunes on custom made gramophone decks.
